Video Processing

VidShrink compresses videos directly on your device. The app reads the video file you select, creates a compressed copy, and saves it to a location you choose. Video files are not uploaded or stored on external servers.

Media access / storage permissions
Used only to allow you to select videos and choose where compressed files are saved. VidShrink does not access files without your action.

Notifications

Notifications may be used to show compression progress or completion. You can disable notifications at any time in system or app settings.

Advertising

VidShrink may show advertisements from third-party providers such as Google AdMob. These services may collect information such as device identifiers, approximate location, app interaction data, and ad performance data in order to display and measure ads.

Data collection by advertising providers depends on your device settings and the provider’s own privacy policy.

VidShrink does not require user accounts and does not collect video content. Depending on enabled features and third-party SDKs, limited data may be collected:
